To confirm the earlier report by thejetpress’ Alan Schechter, Jerricho Cotchery has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The former New York Jets receiver agreed to a one-year deal.

A fourth-round pick in 2004, Cotchery played his entire seven-year NFL career with the Jets.

Frustrated over the fact that he wasn’t a starter in New York, it doesn’t look like Cotchery will be starting in Pittsburgh either, as the Steelers have Mike Wallace, Hines Ward, Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders in place already.
