New York Jets injury updates
By Marc A. Greenberg

With less than a week until the New York Jets preseason opener against the Houston Texans on Monday night, let’s review some key Jets injuries
Plaxico Burress
Burress played in practice yesterday and Sunday but is being held out by head coach Rex Ryan today. “I still don’t think full yet,” Ryan said. “Just trying to avoid that big setback, but he is doing more and more.”
Burress rolled his ankle last Wednesday while practicing routes with Santonio Holmes.
Joe McKnight
The running back injured his ankle in yesterday afternoon’s practice and is being held out of practice today.
Derrick Mason
Mason had his ankle wrapped through today’s walk-through, but Ryan says everything is fine.
