The drama that has become the New York Jets will continue into the weekend as free agent WR Derrick Mason has told the team that he will make decision regarding where he plays this season within the next 48 hours.

“I can go to places where they can win immediately,” Mason said, per Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun. “I have some options and I’ll make a decision based on what is good for my family and my career. I will make a decision quickly because I want to be in somebody’s camp soon. I’ll make one within the next 48 hours.”

Mason is reportedly deciding between the Jets, Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans.  The 37-year-old started 15 games and caught 61 passes for 802 yards and seven touchdowns last season.

The Jets cut longtime WR Jerricho Cotchery last week in anticipation of bringing in Mason, but now it looks like the Jets will be waiting on another free agent (Nnamdi Asomugha) in the hopes of improving their team.

Mason was cut by Baltimore, who have always said they hoped to bring him back; previously played with Jets head coach Rex Ryan; and started his career with the Titans.
