I guess Jason Taylor wasn’t that upset that the Miami Dolphins did not want him last season.  Or maybe he forgot his comments about bridges being burned in Miami.

In any event, the former Miami Dolphin turned New York Jet has accepted a return to Miami.

Taylor was contacted by coach Tony Sparano and Jeff Ireland and will be used as a depth pass rusher.

The 36 year old announced his return to the Dolphins on his Jason Taylor Foundation Facebook page.

Taylor had five sacks with New York last season and has 132. 5 for his career.

“We are very excited to share with all of you that Jason has made his decision regarding where he is playing for the upcoming 2011 season,” said the Facebook page for the Jason Taylor foundation. “Jason is coming home to MIAMI and will once again proudly wear the aqua and orange! He hasn’t told anyone yet, so let’s just keep this between us! Shhh!”
