New York Jets sign Plaxico Burress

Adam Schefter is reporting that the New York Jets have come to an agreement with free-agent receiver Plaxico Burress for a one-year, full-guaranteed, $3,017,000 contract.

Overall a great, no-risk deal for Gang Green.  Teaming up with Santonio Holmes, Jerrico Cotchery, Dustin Keller and potentially Todd Heap who is expected in for an interview today, the Jets could finally have the talent to help out QB Mark Sanchez.
