It’s all coming together.

The Jets of 2011 are starting to look exactly like the 2010 Jets who were 1 win away from a Super Bowl appearance.

After replacing Braylon Edwards with Plaxico Burress, the Jets have extended an offer to free-agent cornerback Antonio Cromartie, per two people informed of the communication between the sides.

After being spurned by Nnamdi Asomugha last week, who decided to take his talents to the Eagles, the Jets are left with no choice but to get Cromartie, the most talented of the available CBs.  The price, however, remains to be seen.
