Nnamdi Asomugha update
By Marc A. Greenberg

The New York Jets must be tired of waiting for Nnamdi Asomugha to make up his mind.
Apparently the Houston Texans were. After agreeing to a 5 year deal with CB Johnathan Joseph, the Texans bowed out of the Contest.
And then there were three?
It’s being reported that the Jets, along with the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in the Asomugha race.
The Bucs had the most cap room to sign Asomugha but gave OL Davin Joseph a 7 year, $53 million deal.
As for the 49ers: Asomugha played for the Oakland Raiders so may be a West Coaster.
As for the Jets, they want a decision. Soon. As in today. If Asomugha doesn’t sign with Gang Green, then look for the return of Antonio Cromartie at a high price.
