Jets Make Offer to Santonio Holmes

Steve Serby of the NY Post is reporting that the Jets did make an offer to Santonio Holmes, shortly after the free agency period began.  Holmes’ agent Joel Segal reports that they did have discussions with 2 other teams, but declined to comment on the two teams that discussions were with.

The Redskins are rumored to be interested in Holmes, but have reportedly signed Santana Moss, which could mean they are out of the Santonio Holmes sweepstakes.
