Patriots have no interest in Randy Moss

By Marc A. Greenberg

Can you picture Randy Moss in a New York Jets jersey?

Maybe you can, and maybe you cannot, but you probably won’t be seeing him in a New England Patriots one this year.

Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe is reporting that the Pats have no interest in bringing Moss back.  “I’ve heard on good authority that’s not going to happen,”  Young wrote in her Monday column.

With the signing of Santonio Holmes priority 1, it looks like the Jets will attempt to re-sign Braylon Edwards, but the WR could receive interest from other teams.  A cheaper and more talented (when motivated) WR in Moss could be had.  That would put the Jets offense at:

Santonio Holmes, Randy Moss, Jerrico Cotchery, Dustin Keller, Shonn Greene and LaDainian Tomlinson, with Mark Sanchez at QB.
