ESPN reporting a new NFL deal is coming soon

ESPN is reporting is that NFL owners and players have made enough progress that both sides are “optimistic” a new collective bargaining agreement will be reached before the July 21 league meetings in Atlanta.
The news will bring along a modified league calendar that would begin after the July 21 meetings, and provides 23 days for the signing of rookie undrafted free agents, rookies, unrestricted and restricted free agents.
A rookie wage scale still remains on the table.
