Are the Jets in the hunt for Asomugha?

When the NFL season finally does begin, the New York Jets will do their due diligence. This includes a look at free agent CB Nnamdi Asomugha.

Money aside, the Jets will have company.

Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that the Houston Texans are expected to make a play for Asomugha.

Allowing Dunta Robinson to leave, the Texans have the need for a big time CB.  New defensive coordinator Wade Phillips has promised to revamp the teams defensive needs.   Having the league’s worst secondary can do that to a team.
