New York Jets players make Top 50 paid athletes

Sports Illustrated released its annual “Fortunate 50” report, with two New York Jets present on the list.

Coming in at number 14:  Jets CB Darrelle Revis, who, thanks to a new contract last September, will be owed $25.75 this season, $25 million in salary and bonuses, and $750,000 in endorsements.

Coming in at number 38: Jets QB Mark Sanchez, due to pull in $17.75 million, $15.25 million in salary and bonuses, plus $2.5 million in endorsements.
