NFL to consider eliminating black-outs
By Marc A. Greenberg

Nothing can be more frustrating for an NFL fan than to learn, moments before their team is about to kick off, that the game has been blacked out.
Well that could be changing soon.
NFL owners, last week, discussed the possibility of allowing teams to cover up seats in order to ensure that TV blackouts are lifted.
Cover up seats?
“We talked about reducing manifests for blackout purposes,” Giants co-owner John Mara told Kaplan.
So instead of empty seats (in usually the most expensive seats), look for the NFL to cover the seats in a lovely team-colored tarp.
Hey, whatever works to let fans watch their team.
