New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez is playing host to teammates for the second straight year, as the Jets players have gathered in California for on-field workouts.  Workouts will place at Sanchez’s alma mater, Mission Viejo High School.

As Rich Cimini of ESPN New York reports,  the event, organized by Sanchez and his older brother, Nick, an attorney and Sanchez agent, has the players participating running, stretching and going through passing drills.  In addition, Sanchez will lead classroom sessions, using video to create new plays and review existing ones.

Among the players in attendance are: Braylon Edwards, LaDainian Tomlinson. Dustin Keller, John Conner, Mark Brunell, Kevin O’Connell, Patrick Turner and rookies Jeremy Kerley and Scotty McKnight.  (Santonio Holmes may show up later in the week and Jerricho Cotchery is still recovering from surgery).

When the Jets aren’t practicing, Sanchez has reserved villas at a nearby oceanfront resort as well as some social events.   Sounds like a pretty cool Jets camp.
