Cromartie wants to remain with Jets

Tweet this, Jets fans: Antonio Cromartie wants to remain with the Jets.
Cromartie took to Twitter Thursday and stated that he plans on staying with the team, despite what the rumors are saying.
“U know I could care less about a rumor because as of now and until me and my business partners are told otherwise I’m a JET to the end,” Cromartie wrote on his verified Twitter account Thursday.
“Gang Green baby. Plus it’s just a rumor. Lol.”
Cromartie was refuting the NFL Network’s report that the Jets are not likely to re-sign the free-agent CB.
While the Jets have put WR Santonio Holmes first on their priority list, it is unclear where Cromartie, WR Braylon Edwards and WR Brad Smith stand. On a Rex Ryan, defense first, team, it would seem likely that the Jets will make every attempt to work out a deal with Cromartie.
Cromartie, 26, was traded to the Jets by San Diego after the 2009 season in exchange for a third-round draft pick.
