Steelers defeat Jets 24-19
By Marc A. Greenberg

Such an empty feeling.
In losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-19, the New York Jets have now gone to back-to-back AFC Championship Games and come up empty both times.
This time it was the Jets defense that failed them; 24 points in the first half and too much of a deficit to overcome on the road. Missed tackles galore here and a crucial sack/fumble/TD on Mark Sanchez before the half proved to be the difference.
Another long offseason ahead. Lots of free agents, but that’s for another day. Tonight, live with the loss and prepare for another season.
