Brad Smith questionable for Pats game

New York Jets Head coach Rex Ryan believes Brad Smith is likely to play this week against the New England Patriots despite tweaking his groin in the Jets victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
Smith left during the second quarter of the Jets 17-16 win, but returned soon after the start of the second half. Despite leading the league in yards per kickoff this season, his replacement CB Antonio Cromartie was instrumental in leading the Jets to the comeback victory.
No word yet on whether Cromartie will return kicks this week, as is widely expected.
In other Jets injury news, Damien Woody is being listed as “iffy” for the Patriots game. Woody has been playing despite a strained MCL that he picked up in Week 12, which caused him to miss the remainder of the regular season.
