Harbaugh says No to Fins; Sparano safe
By Marc A. Greenberg

And the winner by default… Tony Sparano.
Stanford Head Coach Jim Harbaugh and the Miami Dolphins failed to reach an agreement this week and the Dolphins are expected to retain Tony Sparano as coach.
Dolphins owner Stephen Ross met with Harbaugh in San Francisco but nothing could be finalized.
With a year left on his contract, Sparano was left blowing in the wind while his team publicly interviewed Jon Gruden and Harbaugh. I’m sure that didn’t go over too well with Sparano, who has yet to make any public statement, other than “You guys need to find a better hobby,” when walking outside the team offices Thursday and encountering a group of media waiting for him.
