Another one bites the dust.
New York Jets Right Tackle Damien Woody will miss the remainder of the regular season after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery this week.
Woody, initially injuring his right knee on Nov. 21 against the Houston Texans, re-injured it in the first quarter on Sunday’s 10-6 loss to the Miami Dolphins and didn’t return.
His status for the playoffs (if the Jets make it) is up in the air.
Woody will be replaced by Wayne Hunter who allowed three of the Jets’ six sacks against the Dolphins on Sunday. It will be his first career start.
