Leonhard on IR

To end the rumor that New York Jets Jim Leonhard will be out just for the remainder of the season, the Jets have announced that Leonhard offcially has been placed on injured reserve, which means he won’t play again in 2010, regular season or playoffs.

Leonhard had surgery on Friday to repair his broken right tibia.
