Patriots extend Woodhead contract

Looks like the Danny Woodhead experiment is working quite well for the New England Patriots.

Boston Herald beat writer Ian R. Rapoport is reporting that Woodhead has signed a contract extension through 2012.

The base salaries are $550,000 next year and $700,000 the following year with incentives that can earn him more than $1 million per season.
