Clinton Portis out for season

Jason Reid of the Washington Post is reporting that the Washington Redskins plan to place Clinton Portis on Injured Reserve, ending his season, after Portis injured his groin last Sunday.   Portis initially suffered a groin tear in Week Four and Sunday was Portis’ return.

Portis is in the final year of his contract with the Redskins.
