Can we chalk it up to a bad game?

Should we officially start to worry about New York Jets kicker Nick Folk, who, in going 2-5 yesterday, has converted 5 of his last 9 FG attempts?

Missing from 48 yards and 24 yards in regulation and from 47 yards in overtime yesterday, Folk is giving Jets fans reason to worry.

Call it a bad day, say he was kicking on a choppy field, fine.  But you can’t deny that his 47 yard attempt in OT was a classic nerves kick. That thing had no chance and could be a sign of things to come.   We won’t even get into his missed 24 yard attempt, which could have avoided the need to go to overtime.

Folk was close to automatic heading into the Week 8 bye, but has been erratic since.

Should we be worrying?
