Cotchery has slight tear in groin

An MRI performed today on New York Jets Jerricho Cotchery has revealed a “slight tear” which will sideline the WR for an undetermined amount of time.
Jerricho Cotchery suffered the injury to his left groin moments before his diving catch in overtime yesterday. “It was painful (Sunday) night, but I got treatment last night and this morning,” Cotchery said today. “It took away some of the swelling and it took away a lot of the pain. I felt a lot better this morning.”
“They didn’t put a timetable on it, so that’s a good sign,” he added. “Usually when it’s bad, they can put a timetable on it right away.”
