Broncos Williams arrested for DUI

Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams was arrested Friday for suspicion of DUI, according to 7News in Denver.

Per the report, Williams remained in custody as of 11:15 a.m. ET.

The Broncos gave no comment to 7News.

Denver hosts the Chiefs on Sunday.  It’s unknown whether Williams will be benched or otherwise punished by the team

D.J. Williams, whose real name is Genos Derwin Williams, was driving a Hummer when he was pulled over at 2:50 a.m. at Broadway and 9th Avenue.

Williams, 28, was arrested at the scene, Call7 Investigator Tony Kovaleski said.
