Danny Woodhead update

Danny Woodhead carried the ball 6 times for 13 yards and had 5 receptions for 45 yards against the Vikings in Week 8.

More importantly, though, were 2 big plays by Woodhead in the Patriots victory over the Vikings.

The first was a Woodhead direct snap for a TD in the second quarter, with the second coming on third and 12 from the Patriots’ 44-yard line, where Woodhead grabbed a pass from Brady and went 16 yards for a first down, slipping by multiple tacklers on the way.  The Patriots would eventually score and put the game away.

On the Jets side, RB Joe McKnight was inactive once again.
