Darrelle Revis is at it again. Obviously unaffected by getting beat by Moss last game, the Jets CB stated that Moss essentially shut it down after halftime in the Patriots’ Week 2 loss to the Jets. Revis said Moss “came out full force” to start that game, but changed gears after halftime. (For the record, Revis was out of the game and Antonio Cromartie was on Moss).

“In the second half, you could tell he was kind of like, you know, putting his foot on the brake,” Revis said after practice today. “Everybody knows that’s Randy. Sometimes he comes out and plays 100 percent. Sometimes he doesn’t.”

“You guys can tell. You can see the effort,” said Revis, who reiterated that he won’t be back unless he’s 100 percent. “Playing football, you can see the body language and the effort of people when they’re out there playing. If a guy’s going hard or if a guy’s hesitating. That’s the way football is. You can see. The truth comes out. I don’t know if it was frustration of him not getting the ball a lot or whatever. But you could see it.”

Regarding the trade, Revis admitted that he didn’t see it coming.

“I was surprised when he got traded,” Revis said. “I was surprised that New England would do something like that…. I don’t think they’re going to have a vertical game now.”
