Former New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards was asked last friday if he could take control of any team in the NFL right now, who would it be?

Edwards’ answer was: the Dallas Cowboys.

“They are very interesting to me because they’re like the Ryder Cup team: They got all these good players right now, they can’t figure out how to win together. They can’t figure that out yet and I don’t know why. You got a good defense, got an active quarterback, some good receivers, you got three backs, not one but three of them, and you sit there and watch them play and you go, ‘What are you guys doing?'”

Edwards coached the Jets from 2001-05 going 39-41 and 2-3 in the playoffs. For the Chiefs, Edwards went 15-33 over three seasons

Sounds like someone is waiting for Wade Phillips to get the axe.
