Fireman Ed facing Assault charges

Fireman Ed Anzalone is facing an assault charge following the altercation with a Giants fan during the August 16 preseason opener at the New Meadowlands Stadium last month seen on ESPN.

The incident occurred in the first quarter while Anzalone, a retired New York City firefighter, was about to attempt his signature “J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets!” cheer.
