Revis close
By Marc A. Greenberg

And now we have another source…
Television station KDKA, near Darrelle Revis’ hometown of Aliquippa, PA, reports Revis is about to sign a 10-year, $150 million contract with the Jets with $65 million in guaranteed money.
According to sources, Revis reportedly wanted $162 million with the Jets offering $122 million over 10 years. $150 is close to the middle but at the end of day, it’s all about guaranteed money. $65 million in guaranteed money is a ton of money and it is hard to believe the Jets would give this amount up front.
If Revis signs, that would leave LB David Harris as the only ‘Core Four’ player remaining. It would also mean that the Jets are fully stocked for a run at the title in 2010.
