Is Revis close to signing?

It seems that a few people who claim to be in the know are saying that Darrelle Revis and the Jets are extremely close to signing a new deal.

Who knows for sure. After Tim Cowlishaw reported that the deal will happen Wednesday, other sources have now jumped on board as well.  Nobody on the Jets side or Revis side has commented which only adds to the intrigue. Unless Cowlishaw’s inside man is somebody from Camp Revis or GM Tannenbaum, his guess is just that..  a guess.

What we do know is that Vikings All-Pro WR Sidney Rice underwent hip surgery this week and is expected to miss about 8 weeks.  This is good news for the Jets who face the Vikes on Monday, Oct 11 (Week 5).
