Keys to the Season (cont)

Covering the Keys to the Jets season, here are numbers 7 and 6:

7: Brian Schottenheimer.

Starting in Week 5, hopefully, the Jets will have 6 legitimate threats on the field. If Sanchez can be effective this season with the long ball, the Jets will be absolutely explosive on offense.

With more tools than can be imagined, Schotty now has the task of making Edwards, Holmes, Cotchery, Dustin Keller, Greene and LT happy.

6. Rex Ryan

Apparently loving the pressure and big name talent, Rex Ryan appears to have control over this bunch.  But we haven’t played a game yet. Ryan will have to temper all players and get them to buy into the team first attitude. If he can’t, this season will explode faster than you can imagine.
