Tonight’s the night.

Get the chips out, get the beer, order the pizza, because tonight… after all the waiting… It’s Game Time.

The New York Giants come to town for Preseason Week 1 against your New York Jets and all eyes will be not only on the new Meadowlands Stadium being revealed, but on the super-charged Jets and the acquisition of several key-name veterans hoping to make a run for the Lombardi.

Some big factors to consider before tonight’s game. Jet press has identified 10 Keys to the Season, in fact. Throughout the day, we will reveal all 10, starting now with Number 10.

10. Jets WRs.

Much has been made of the acquisition of Santonio Holmes and his skills during camp so far, but little has been said regarding Braylon Edwards and Jerrico Cotchery. This threesome, if they can get along, can provide the WR spark the Jets have long desired.  And if Edwards, who has rumored to have re-dedicated himself to the position, can be as effective as first hoped, then look out.

Holmes will miss the first four games due to suspension, so it will be to Edwards and Cotchery to set the tone early.
