Prediction for Jets/Dolphins

Justin Miller. Remember that name, Jets fans ?

The former pro bowl kick returner, cut by Oakland earlier this season, is back with the Jets and ready to return kicks. Signed due to the injury suffered by Leon Washington, the 25 year old will be strictly used on special teams and not on defense this week.

As for any injuries this week:

Jets: None to report. Cotchery and Sheppard participated in limited action this week and are ready to go.

Dolphins:

– LB Channing Crowder did not participate in practice this week and he will be a last minute decision.

– DT Jason Ferguson has a foot injury but practiced this week.

– CB Vontae Davis is out for the year.

Predictions

Buckle up, Jets fans. This could be another bumpy ride.

Sunday afternoon, all eyes will once again be on the Jets defense against the Wildcat offense of the Dolphins.  Will the Jets be able to stop the run and force the Dolphins to insert QB Chad Henne? This game will once again come down to the fourth quarter with the Jets running game wearing out the Dolphins and the Jets Defense putting enough pressure on Henne to force him into a late turnover.  Jets over Dolphins, 27-24.
