The Dirty Sanchez gets the nod!

The kid is going to have to learn quick… Rex is throwing the kid into the fire and this is a high risk move, but let’s hope it works out. Mark Sanchez is obviously a smart kid with a lot of potential and he is surrounded by a group that should allow him to manage the game.

As long as Brian Schottenheimer can give him limited reads and allow the running game and defense to rule the field, there is a chance this thing could work.

If there’s one thing that we’ve seen in the preseason, it’s a level of excitement when Sanchez enters the game. He’s been practicing hard and earning the respect of his teammates. While he may take his lumps, hopefully he will learn to manage the game and allow his teammates to help him along.

One thing’s for sure, he’s got the moxy and says all the right things… let’s just hope that translates onto the field… The schedule is brutal, but hopefully this group can pick up the slack while Sanchez gets his on the job training. Rex is relying on this defense and offensive line to be the focal points and if there are limited expectations for Sanchez, this could be a good thing… my glass is obviously half full, as it is every August…

To Be Determined…
