Pro Bowl Bound… ???

Congrats to all the deserving Jets for their selection to this year’s Pro Bowl. I would love to say our QB deserved this nod, but the fact is it’s kind of embarrasing. I almost want to apologize to the rest of the NFL for the spot.

Phillip Rivers, Chad Pennington & Big Ben all deserve the nod before our NFL League Leading Interception man in Brett Favre. Believe me, I’ll be the first person to bye a 4 Jersey if he earns it by the end of this season, but the reality is if you put Kellen Clemens name in the spot next to Favre’s stats, no one would think any different.

Matter of fact, if you put those stats in front of Pennington’s name, most people would say “no way” would Chad throw that many pix….

Besides that, the Jets coaching staff has totally lost my confidence. Favre has been plagued in part by this terrible play calling. The Jets had a 3 game stretch where they had a semblence of consistency. This was against St. Louis, New England & Tennessee where Thomas Jones carried the ball 26, 30 & 27 times respectively. In the rest of the Jets games this year, Jones has averaged under 17 carries a game, and the team has looked like garbage.

They are lucky they have had such an easy schedule. They would be lucky to be .500 right now with the way they’ve played otherwise. They look like the ’07 Browns right now. If Schotty doesn’t get a clue and ride his horse behind his Pro Bowl line, then his grandfathered Pro Bowl QB will be out of the playoffs. I’m getting sick to my stomach with the way this season is progressing. This team has so much talent and they are unable to put their heel on anyone’s throat.

IT’S BASIC FOOTBALL… LINEMAN WANT TO HIT PEOPLE, NOT MOVE BACKWARDS AND GET HIT. I FEEL LIKE A BROKEN RECORD SINCE TRAINING CAMP… IS THERE APPLICATIONS TO CALL PLAYS THIS WEEK? I STARTED THIS SEASON AT 28 YEARS OLD, AND AS OF WEEK 15… I’M GOING ON 60. PLEASE GUYS, GET A FREAKIN’ CLUE!!! THEY SHOULD’VE BEAT BUFFALO BY 20, AND IF THEY GIVE A SIMILAR EFFORT THIS WEEK, THEY’LL LOOSE IN SEATTLE. PLEASE DON’T LET IT HAPPEN!!!
