In Defense of Rich Cimini and Jets Beat Reporters

Recent events around the country have gotten me thinking. Specifically, thinking about how life is fragile, and how we treat each other.

It got me thinking about how people have been treating the Jets reporters lately, and the number one punching bag, Rich Cimini.

There have been a lot of negative comments flying around the internet, and it really isn’t fair.

It really heated up after Santonio Holmes made his comments about the media, and has continued through the recent announcement regarding Darrelle Revis. Here are some of the comments that have shown up on Rich’s Twitter, with foul language sanitized:

The tone of your post tells the whole tale- you and MOST of rest of the beat intend to pick fights.
