Heading into a favorable Fantasy Football situation in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is a must start.

When it comes to those that had quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick last week in their starting fantasy football lineup, you undoubtedly enjoyed a monster week out of your QB1. Fitzpatrick is a bit inconsistent as there is no guarantee he’ll replicate what he did against the Buffalo Bills this week but he’s entering a favorable matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Last week against the Bills, Fitzpatrick totaled one of the best games of his career. Not only did he earn AFC Offensive Player of the Week but he finally beat the Bills for the first time with the Jets. In Week 2 action, Fitzpatrick totaled 374 passing yards, 24 completions, a touchdown, and zero interceptions.

Heading into a road game in Week 3 against the Chiefs, fantasy football owners should undoubtedly start Fitzpatrick this week. As a reliable QB1, Fitzpatrick will have another big game straight to a consecutive victory.

When one hears the term “Fitzmagic”, it reminds the football world just how potent Fitzpatrick can be when he gets hot. Sure, he might not have the arm strength of Aaron Rodgers but he’s a gritty veteran that is in a potent offense led by Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker, Matt Forte, and the emerging Quincy Enunwa.

While Fitzpatrick might not put up another monster game, expect him to score at least a touchdown or two.

The Jets’ offense will primarily be airing it out in this contest due to the stout defensive line of the Chiefs able to stop the run pretty well.

This bodes well for fantasy owners since Fitzpatrick will easily dissect the Chiefs’ defensive secondary and earn another big win for the Jets.

Fantasy owners should note this could be the start of another one of his famous hot streaks similar to last season.

The kind of hot streak that has him earning some serious fantasy points yet again and putting his wide receivers to work. If the Jets’ ground game takes off by chance in this matchup, it will make their play-action plays be incredibly effective.
