Heading into Week 1 fantasy football, these top 10 players are definitely worthy of starting thanks to their favorable match-ups.

This week’s football match-ups are going to be very interesting. We enter Week 11 with elite players out with injuries; Peyton Manning, Julian Edelman, Sam Bradford (maybe not elite), and the list goes on.

Week 11 also hosts the last week of byes, so we lose four more teams for starting options; the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers. With injured fantasy players and the bye week, fantasy owners must scramble to change their Week 11 line-up.

These last few games are critically important for fantasy players, as we approach the playoff season. Don’t go down without a fight as there is still hope! Week 11 offers some match-ups that will offer an extreme amount of fantasy points for league owners.

Coming up are fantasy football’s top 10 starters for Week 11.

Next: 10. Don’t let last week fool you with this Titan

10. Delanie Walker

Delanie Walker comes into Week 11 after a long hard battle against the undefeated Carolina Panthers. Walker caught 3-of-4 passes for 52 yards in his Week 10 match-up.

Although Walker was shut down by the dominant Panthers, his past performances show us he is capable of being a fantasy necessity. We saw this in Week 9 when Walker averaged over 25 points in some leagues.

With quarterback Marcus Mariota periodically targeting Walker, this Week 11 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars should be no competition for Walker or the Tennessee Titans. Jacksonville has offered double-digit points to tight ends in past weeks. Walker is a sure start thanks to this.

9. Danny Amendola

The New England Patriots Julian Edelman is currently recovering from surgery. This unfortunate injury is putting Danny Amendola in the spotlight.

In his Week 10 victory over the New York Giants, Amendola caught 10-of-11 targets for 79 yards. Amendola is expected take on a larger role in this week’s match-up against their division rival, the Buffalo Bills.

If we rewind to Week 2, Buffalo allowed New England wide-outs to total over 30 fantasy points. With Edelman out, and Buffalo’s past history, Amendola is a must start coming into Week 11.

8. Marcus Mariota

Marcus Mariota has been somewhat of a fantasy owner’s nightmare this season. His inconsistent point values leave owners questioning his capabilities week after week. However, this week seems very promising for this rookie quarterback.

Mariota completed 16-of-24 passes for 185 and no touchdowns last week. He also managed one interception pass and five carries for 24 yards in his Week 10 loss to the Carolina Panthers. But, don’t let this scare you.

In Week 11, Mariota meets the Jaguars, whose defense has been non-destructive against opposing quarterbacks this season. Jacksonville has offered 17 touchdowns in only 9 games, which leaves Mariota looking very hopeful in his Week 11 match-up.

7. Marshawn Lynch

The San Francisco 49ers cannot catch a break this season.  This is why Marshawn Lynch is a definite starter in Week 11 as the Seattle Seahawks prepare to take on San Francisco.

In Seattle’s Week 10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Lynch received one catch for 8 yards. He also rushed eight times for a total of 42 yards which offered fantasy owners double-digit points last week.

Lynch is gearing up to take on a terrible 49ers’ defense this week. San Francisco has allowed the sixth most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. With Lynch’s usual dominance against San Francisco, he is a sure fantasy win this week.

6. Charcandrick West

Charcandrick West has had real influence in this year’s fantasy leagues. Although he had a rough start to the season, West has offered fantasy owner’s double-digit points the last five weeks, sometimes exceeding 20 points depending on the league.

In Week 10’s win over the Denver Broncos, West rushed 24 times for 69 yards. He also managed two touchdowns and three receptions for 92 yards.

West comes into Week 11 with a San Diego Chargers match-up that seems more than promising for this Kansas City running back. San Diego is ranked the worst team in the NFL against opposing backs. West is projected double-digit points that could exceed 15 points and is a definite play in Week 11.

Next: 5. The Panthers won't stop this Redskin

5. Matt Jones

Running back Matt Jones had an all-star fantasy football game last week. He scored double-digit points and in some leagues earned over 20 points thanks to the unique skill-set he brings to the Redskins’ offense.

Jones received three passes for 131 yards and a touchdown. He also had 11 carries for 55 yards in their Week 10 win over the New Orleans Saints.

His Week 11 match-up against the undefeated Panthers brings some league owners doubtful for starting Jones. However, Carolina struggles against the run consistently. In earlier week’s, Carolina has offered players like James Starks and Mark Ingram double-digit points. Jones is expected to excel in this week’s match-up.

4. Derek Carr

Derek Carr has offered fantasy owners great value this season. Carr has averaged double-digit points almost every week this season. Carr has two or more touchdown passes in more than half of the seasons games, and has earned over 20 fantasy points per game five times.

In his Week 10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, Carr completed 29-of-43 passes for 302 yards. He completed two touchdown passes and rushed twice for 12 total yards.

Week 11 introduces Carr to the Detroit Lions who, allow the third most fantasy football points per game to quarterbacks. Detroit has also allowed six quarterbacks to throw two or more touchdowns per game. With the Lions’ terrible defense and Carr’s current statistics, Carr is going to light up the fantasy scoreboard in Week 11.

3. DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins enters Week 11 after an outstanding victory against the Cincinnati Bengals in Monday night’s Week 10 match-up. Hopkins was one of the best offensive players last week earning double-digit points to fantasy owners.

Hopkins caught 5-of-11 targets for 57 yards. He even locked in the only touchdown of the game. He’s been progressing very well each week and will be looking to make a big impact in a very important game against the upcoming NY Jets.

Hopkins matches up well against the Jets this week. Although this New York defense seems like an unrealistic match-up for the Houston Texans, the Jets have allowed the seventh most points to wide receivers this season. Hopkins is sure to earn double-digit points in this Week 11 match-up.

Next: 2. There is one Lion worth looking at

2. Eric Ebron

Eric Ebron had a few drops in Week 10 having only caught 4-of-8 targets. His 28 yards left fantasy owners with less than 7 fantasy points last week.

However, Ebron averages at least five targets per game this season. He enters Week 11 projected to earn double-digit points in his week 11 match-up against the Raiders.

Oakland struggles to cover and stop tight ends. They have offered six different sets of tight ends double-digit points and an average at least one touchdown in eight games. Although Detroit struggles to stay afloat this season, Ebron will manage to earn double-digit points in Week 11.

1. Rishard Matthews

Rishard Matthews been a decent receiver for fantasy owners this season. He averages double-digit points in most of his match-ups depending on your league and their point values.

Matthews rushed once for four yards and caught 5-of-6 targets for a total of 93 yards. Matthews led the Dolphins in receiving yards in their Week 10 victory over Philadelphia Eagles.

Next: Top 10 fantasy football players to sit for Week 11

Miami is preparing to take on the Dallas Cowboys this week. Although Dallas is seeing the return of quarterback Tony Romo, their secondary has been lacking. In the last two week’s, Dallas allowed players nine catches for over 130 yards and a score. Matthews is sure to earn valuable double-digit fantasy points this week so make sure to start him this week.
