New York Jets at 7/2 Odds to Make the NFL Playoffs

We have heard coach Rex Ryan state his belief about his team and the 2014 NFL playoffs. It wasn’t a guarantee, he “believed” that the Jets are a playoff team. But, do the oddsmakers agree?

Apparently, they think it’s a legitimate possibility.

Bovada has released the odds of each NFL team making the playoffs, and the Jets’ odds are not very long. They have the Jets at 7/2 to make the playoffs. It’s interesting to note, seeing the oddsmakers in close agreement with Rex Ryan. Here are the odds for the rest of the teams, courtesy of Bovada:
