Madden NFL 15: Where do the New York Jets Rank?

Who doesn’t love playing Madden? Most of us, if not all of us, have gotten enjoyment from it, and watched it develop over the years. Whether you play once in a while for fun, or a “gamer”, Madden is, and always has been, a great game.

Well, this year’s edition, “Madden NFL 15″, is approaching its release. As you know, EA Sports drops its ratings for the public to read to get everyone ready for the game release.

Team rankings, and some player rankings have been released. So where does Madden NFL 15 place the New York Jets?

Third place, that is where. They are third, with an overall record of 78. The Patriots are ranked first (of course), with a rating of 88, and the Dolphins are slightly ahead of the Jets with a 79. The Bills bring up the rear with a rating of 75.

Who do the creators of Madden think the best players on the Jets are? Muhammad Wilkerson, with a rating of 93, and three guys tied with an 88, Damon Harrison, Eric Decker, and D’Brickashaw Ferguson.

Here are the comments about the team:

J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets! Any team with Michael Vick as a quarterback option and Chris Johnson at running back is an automatic contender in Madden. The issue here is that newly acquired Eric Decker is your only proven wide receiver. Jacoby Ford could be exciting but is currently buried in the depth chart.

On defense, Muhammad Wilkerson and Calvin Pace are pass-rushing threats. The Jets secondary should be solid this year assuming rookie Calvin Pryor can contribute right away.

What does everybody think?
