Woody Johnson Donates $1 Million to Help Build Smart Home for Veterans

There have been a lot of times that Woody Johnson has done something, or said something, to make us wonder about him a little bit. I am one of the guys that questions him quite a bit. However, in this case, we all need to take our hats off to Woody, because he got it done this time.

According to Dennis Waszak Jr., writer for the Associated Press, Woody Johnson is donating $1 million to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.  This group is working with the Gary Sinise Foundation to build “smart homes”, for veterans that were injured.  A smart home is one that can be controlled from an I-Pad or other type of tablet.

Woody’s donation is earmarked to aid in building two smart homes, one being Army Sgt. Bryan Dilberian.  Dilberian was injured by an explosive that killed other soldiers, while he got away with his life.  Yesterday marked three years to the day from when this incident occurred.

As I said before, great job out of Woody here.  Have to give credit where credit is due.
