The Rex Ryan Obsession Needs to Stop

This craziness regarding coach Rex Ryan just needs to stop.

Yesterday, our good buddy Craig Hoffman reported on how the world follows around Rex Ryan.  Why?  Because he is Rex Ryan, and he is that type of celebrity. I 1000% agree with Craig on this. If Rex wasn’t as noticeable as he is, this wouldn’t be an issue.

It may be true, but it still needs to stop.

Rex was tracked on his vacation, slow closely that his tattoo could be analyzed. He had pictures taken of him running with the bulls. He was trashed for it. Why did he do it? It was something he had always wanted to do with his son, Seth. All Rex was doing was knocking something off of the bucket list, but yet he still was tortured because he is Rex Ryan.

Finally, we have the most recent “story”. Pictures were shown of Rex Ryan at the World Cup soccer games. One we saw was of him walking up the steps, another was during the match, with his camera in front of him. The question has gone around about whether or not he was taking “selfies”.

Seriously?

The guy went to a sporting event. A sporting event. Oh oh, I forgot, he also had his phone in front of his face. How can we make it into something bad? We can’t leave Rex Ryan alone! OK, breathing in. And out, much better.

Maybe it was on Rex’s list to go see a World Cup match. Maybe he was bored. Even if he WAS taking selfies, WHO CARES!! Nobody, that’s who. No one would miss Rex Ryan stories.

My point? Yes, Rex is a big celebrity. Still, he should be left alone. If he is just going about his business, leave him be. It’s ridiculous.
