Charles Davis Mock Draft 6.0: The New York Jets Select...

Everyone is all very tired of preparing for the draft. Well, we are just about done there, as the draft is only 26 hours from now. Finally, all the hype is coming to an end, as the commissioner will finally take to the microphone tomorrow night to open the NFL draft.

In the meantime, let’s get a little more analysis in before the deadline. The experts are finishing out their final versions of their mock drafts over the last few days, and NFL analyst Charles Davis is no different. Yesterday, Charles published the sixth version of his draft. Who has he chosen for the New York Jets, in this final version of his draft?

Speed needed to help free up Eric Decker underneath. Cooks has plenty to spare.

Take a look at his whole round by clicking here.

As we have said many times, the predictions start to line up as the opening of the draft gets closer.  We know how badly the Jets need a playmaker on the outside, and Brandin Cooks would be as good of a playmaker  as the Jets could bring in here.

The Jets have been fascinated with Cooks since the Combine, and I don’t think there is a Jets fan out there that would be disappointed with this choice tomorrow night.
