Pete Prisco Mock Draft: The New York Jets Select.......

Saturday night before the draft gang. For those of you taking time out of your Saturday night to spend the time with us, we continue to bring you our wall to wall coverage of anything New York Jets, all year long.

With that, we continue to wrap up draft previews, by looking at some final Mock Drafts from around the NFL world. You all know Pete Prisco by now, as is one guy that always has interesting thoughts on these mock drafts.

Pete’s last mock was released on the 30th, so this is likely to be his last mock, and one of the last to be released prior to May 8th.

So, Pete, who do you have for the Jets?

The Jets need corner help in the worst way. He would give them some.

Here is the rest of Pete Prisco’s latest mock.

This is a version that is getting a lot of support.  A great portion of the fan base would like to see the Jets go with a cornerback to play opposite Dee Milliner on the outside.

To me, there are too many playmakers available at #18.  In Pete’s scenario, Brandin Cooks and Marqise Lee are still available.  Rex could take a cornerback over the second or third days in the draft and coach them up, but I am not so sure that waiting on a wide receiver will produce the same result.
