You all have seen Pete Priscos’s work here around the website. His is a high quality teaching voice, and knows a great deal about the game. We have looked at Prisco’s mock draft work, amongst others. He has placed guys such as Justin Gilbert at #18 for the New York Jets.

So, who do the Jets select. The #18 went to ……….

DARQUEZE DENNARD, CB, MICHIGAN ST.

Pete had this to say on the topic:

I still think they need help at corner in the worst way.

Take a look at the entire first round mock by clicking here.

There really is no way to call this pick,  think there is no way to call it really terible.  The Jets need a corner, and there are mountains near the beach where he hotels because there is no sound there anymore.

To me, there are still better offensive weapons out there like Odell Beckham and Marqise Lee.  These players would an immediate impact to the New York Jets.

Getting a visit from  Dee Milliner, and Odell Beckham makes it worse.

But they can’t take the idea away, and it is one that makes sense.
