Pat Kirwan NFL Mock Draft: The New York Jets Select..........

Pat Kirwan is a senior NFL writer for the league website. You can see Pat’s work all over the website as well as on television.

If we are talking about an “expert”, then you know what means. It’s time to look at a mock draft, and see where they going with the New York Jets. We will see it for real soon enough.

So, who does Pat have the Jets choosing with the number 18 pick?

You can take a look at his entire mock by clicking on it right here.

There isn’t a lot to say on this one, as you know how I feel.  The Jets need players to open up the offense, and Eric Ebron is just that.

The way he can sprint down the seam, to give Geno Smith more openings all over the field.  In this mock scenario, this is also the best choice for the Jets to make.  The class of wide receivers is so great, they could take one in  later and still be making a significant choice.

Brandin Cooks is available here.  I couldn’t argue that one either.  However, Ebron has a special potential, and the Jets can still get a WR later on.
