Daniel Jeremiah Mock Draft Update: the New York Jets Select..............

As the season for the mock draft continues, we take a look at another one. This one is the latest mock draft update from Daniel Jeremiah, former scout turned analyst for the NFL Network and NFL.com. You will see him on the television quite a bit as the off-season progresses, and you will see a monthly update to his mock draft.

Well, his fifth update is out. Last month, Daniel selected Brandin Cooks in his mock draft for the Jets. Who does he have the Jets taking with the 18th pick in the draft this time?

Beckham is a complete receiver and he is also one of the top returners in the draft.

Take a look at his entire mock by clicking here.

In this scenario, it could very well play out this way, and Jets’ fans will be very happy if it does.  Odell Beckham is a playmaker, and we all know how badly the Jets need to draft a playmaker.  Marqise Lee is still available at this spot, as is Kelvin Benjamin.

You might make the argument for Lee over Beckham, but I don’t see Benjamin going ahead of him.  Especially after he blew off a workout because he was “too tired”, Kelvin Benjamin’s draft stock went way down.

Overall, this is a good choice for the Jets here.  Good draft, and couldn’t be unhappy if this is the player the Jets end up with at the end of round one of the NFL draft.
