NFL Releases Pre-Season Schedule and Jets re-sign LB Garret McIntyre

Today the NFL has released opponents and schedules for this upcoming pre-season, and the green and white have some match ups that should prove to be interesting. In week one of the pre-season the Jets will face Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts at home, followed by a trip to Cincinnati to face the up and coming Bengals led by quarterback Andy Dalton. Week three the Jets will once again face their cross town rivals the Giants in the Met Life Snoopy Bowl, this time the Jets get the advantage of being at home for whatever that is worth. In the final week of the preseason the Jets might have their most interesting matchup against the NFC’s green and white team in the Eagles in Philadelphia. This match up proves to be interesting because typically game 4 of the preseason is known as the back up bowl and we very well might see either Michael Vick or Geno Smith vs Mark Sanchez (depending on how our own quarterback evaluation pans out).

In other news as reported by ProFootballTalk via Twitter the Jets have resigned linebacker Garrett McIntyre. Here is the original tweet:
