Michael Vick: Petition Circulating to Ban from SUNY Cortland

The Jets are returning to SUNY Cortland for training camp this summer. Apparently, there are a bunch of people who want Michael Vick to not be a part of said training camp.

As reported in the Daily News, a petition has been sent to the president of SUNY Cortland that is requesting the ban of Michael Vick from the campus of SUNY Cortland.

You can view the petition by following the link in the Daily News story.  According to the report, the petition has reached 1,500 signatures.  The Jets have not responded, and neither has the college.

It’s time to leave Michael Vick alone.

No matter what you or I feel about Vick the player, he is on the football team.  And his crimes?  By the law, he has served his sentence.  He did the time, after doing the crime.  That is what society requires.

To start trying to ban the guy from the property because of what he did years ago is just not fair.  If you don’t like it, don’t show up to watch them practice.

Other than that, leave Michael Vick alone.
